4C's BUYING GUIDE
The four most popular used to measure the rarity of diamond are Carat, Colour, Clarity and Cut.

CARAT
The weight of diamond is expressed in carats. 1Ct= 0,200 gram.

COLOUR
Colour is graded by comparison to master stones under standardized artificial light, Equivalent to Northern daylight.
Indicated colours are only meant to show the difference in shades.
The colour grade starts from colour D which is exc. white +, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N-O, P-R until S-Z which is tinted colour.

CLARITY
A Diamond is loup clean or internally flawless (IF/LC) IF, after examination by an experienced
grader with loup 10X under normal light condition, it has been found free of internal
characteristics. The other clarity grades (VVS1, VVS2, Vs1, VS2, SI1, SI2) are
determined by the size, position, brightness and number of internal characteristics.
The lowest clarity graded on the scale (I1, I2, I3) refer to inclusions that can be
seen by an experience grader with the naked eye.

CUT
Some common diamond shapes are Round, Oval, Marquise,
Pear, Heart, Princess and Emerald.
